Job Description (Social Media Manager - Beauty)

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in beauty and digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

1.Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and achieve business objectives.

2.Manage all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram,YouTube, and any emerging platforms.

3.Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.

4.Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

5.Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on key metrics, insights, and trends along with running sponsored ads on IG.

6.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, and implement innovative strategies to keep the brand ahead of the competition.

7.Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and optimization.

8.Cultivate relationships with influencers and brand advocates to expand the brand's reach and enhance credibility.

9.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

10. Create content for social media, including photoshoots etc and liaise & co-ordinate with other stakeholders such as graphic designers, agencies, photographers & other team members.

11. Good client servicing skills to manage stakeholders and senior management with good negotiation skills.

12. Function as a regular point of contact for the client and taking a critical role in actioning client and team requests.

Technical expertise

- Responsible to engage with customers on different channels, analyzing running campaigns and being on top of the latest social media trends

- Produce error-free content that adheres to the serviced brand by gaining conceptual knowledge and present underlying strategic thinking across social media channels and platforms. Optimizing content for SEO friendly outcome.

- Use visual storytelling to create compelling narratives for collaterals across digital formats like statics, gifs, reels, videos, etc along with creation of IEC material.

- What You'll Need (must haves for the role)

- 2-3 years' relevant work experience of social media in planning and managing content within a beauty industry.

- Driven by delivering client service excellence and best-in-class creative work, as well as strong project management skills

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, algorithms, and best practices

- Creative thinking and a keen eye for visual aesthetics to develop captivating social media visuals.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- Highly organized and solution-oriented

- Willingness to stay on top of the latest marketing trends and developments

- Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.
