JOB DESCRIPTION : 

We are seeking a skilled, creative and dynamic professional to help amplify and present our impact and work as it continues to expand across India and Bangladesh. This role is intended for someone who enjoys collaborating across diverse teams and bringing together different stakeholders in representing what we do and identifying new opportunities to contribute meaningfully as thought leaders in public health in South Asia.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Support the development of, and lead the execution of communications strategies (both internal and external) to further organizational goals; define key indicators to measure their effectiveness.

- Develop content for, and oversee creative production of key communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's voice and brand, including website copy, Annual/Quarterly Reports, newsletters, brochures and more.

- Collaborate closely with other functional teams including design, implementation, research, and partnerships - provide support in their communications efforts when required.

- Maintain contact databases, mailing lists and manage mass marketing software to ensure timely communication with stakeholders, both internal and external.

- Manage social media accounts across a range of platforms; draw from analytics and insights to improve online reach and engagement.

MUST-HAVES : 

- A Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, public relations, or relevant field.

- Minimum 2-5 years experience in roles that include communications strategy development, campaign execution, and social media management.

- Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- The ability to take ownership and collaborate seamlessly as part of a diverse team including designers, public health professionals, and researchers from across the world.

EXPECTATIONS | NICE TO HAVE

- Experience working in the social/developmental sector is a plus, as is any demonstrable experience engaging with issues of public health and healthcare equity.

- Proficiency in Hindi and/or any other Indian language.

- Familiarity or experience with CRM software eg. Salesforce is an advantage.
