Roles and Responsibilities :

- Responsible for onboarding & account managing SMBs for shipping services business across India through a team of sales associates, owning revenue targets & ensuring best-in-class SMB experience

- Decide the target customers, build mechanisms to generate and qualify leads

- Design and evolve the pitching strategy to get higher conversion.

- Get on the ground to meet & convert potential big accounts/clients to improve sales and negotiation skills.

- Regularly meet existing accounts validating our service levels, develop new revenue streams and target to increase business

- Set-up processes to ensure timely billing and collection from the new & existing customers

- Monitor sales revenue from new & existing accounts & take corrective steps to achieve goals

- Ensure best-in-class client experience and ensuring service levels through the operations team.

Education

- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred

Experience Relevant:

- More than 1 year of experience in sales from Logistics or shipping Industry.

- Experience in an analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.

- Proven ability to manage the business "by the numbers". Must be metrics-driven.

- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly.

- Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
