About the Position:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Associate - Cross-border Solutions with expertise in the MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) segment to join our growing team. As the Sales Associate for MSME, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and business growth within this segment, with a strong focus on cross-border trade and remittance solutions tailored to the specific needs of MSME clients.
Responsibilities :
Client Acquisition : Identify and prospect potential MSME clients engaged in Cross border trade, Imports and Exports through various channels, including cold calling, networking-events and meeting sales targets
Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving needs and offering relevant products or services
Transaction Support : Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-border trade regulations, foreign exchange, and remittance practices, providing valuable insights and support services to MSME clients
Product Knowledge : Stay updated with our cross-border remittance offerings and international trade services, and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients
Sales Presentations : Conduct persuasive sales presentations to potential MSME clients engaged in cross-border trade, showcasing the benefits of our tailored remittance solutions
Cross-functional Coordination : Collaborate with other teams, such as operations, compliance, and customer success, to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing of MSME clients engaged in cross-border trade and remittances
Reporting : Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and business performance related to cross-border trade and remittance services for presentation to the management team
Qualifications :
1. Mandatory 2-3 years of experience in Trade sales in banking or Fintech
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, International Trade, or a related field
2. Proven track record in sales, particularly in the MSME segment, with expertise in cross-border trade and remittance services
3. In-depth understanding of cross-border trade regulations, foreign exchange practices, and remittance procedures
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with business owners and decision-makers
5. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, coupled with excellent negotiation skills
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed business decisions
7. Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for making a positive impact in the MSME community engaged in cross-border trade and remittances
