Associate Director - Business Development - Education Loan (5-12 yrs)

THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Increasing visibility of client's student financing solutions at existing and prospective universities through marketing campaigns and in-person visits and communication

- Developing new solutions that address university needs, testing these solutions with schools, and collaborating with Operations, Credit, Tech, and Finance to bring these solutions to life and generate new sales revenue

- Creating Sales and Marketing collateral that speaks to multiple buyer segments

- Developing best-in-class techniques to identify sales opportunities and then using detailed account plans and strategies for achieving sales goals

- Building a pipeline of sales opportunities to support client's yearly growth targets

- Representing client's Financing at industry conferences and developing new sales leads

- Managing sales deals from end-to-end; from initial conversation, stakeholder engagement, and product demo through closing and post-sales support

THE QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology related field

- 5+ years of demonstrated B2B sales results, preferably within the higher education sector

- Expertise in positioning solutions effectively at all levels of client organization

- Fluency in proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with influencers and decision-makers

- Highly developed client service and client satisfaction focus mindset is a must

- Experience and ability in operating within a fast-paced, multi-disciplined virtual team

- Strong communicator, both in person and especially in writing

- Presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broad audiences

Strong analytical skills and highly comfortable with a tech-enabled environment where the use of tools like Salesforce, Slack, or Confluence are the norm

Ability to travel 25% of the time
