Assistant Sales Manager - Hospitality/Hotels (2-4 yrs)
Roles and responsibilities :
- Oversee the hiring, mentoring, goal-setting, and performance evaluation of sales representatives; adhere to the company's present strategies while seeing business prospects
- Respond to consumer inquiries in a prompt and appropriate manner
- Assure the efficient development of the sales team members and foster a culture of high standards and proactive selling
- Participate in the hotel's marketing plan and oversee the departments' commitment to carrying out that plan
- Provide a weekly or monthly report of your appointments, phone conversations, and business lead list
- As needed, communicate with every department in each hotel
- Establish solid, enduring relationships with customers by ensuring the provision of high-quality services
- Discuss accommodation prices and/or package options with business clients
