Assistant Manager - Sales - Manufacturing Firm (6-8 yrs)

Job Summary:

To achieve sales revenue by generating business from existing customers and nurturing new customers through deep customer engagement. Liaison with customers, analyze competitor activities & data, create reports etc

Role & Responsibilities:

- Achieve Sales goals on Monthly/Quarterly /Yearly Basis covering Corporate Sales, Institutional Sales, OEM Sales

- Nurture, & maintain continuous engagement with existing customers through efficient account servicing

Generate & Develop leads - Identify and nurture leads to develop new customers for the products handled so as to generate new business.

- Responsible for implementation of the sales cycle from enquiry generation to order booking.

- Report Sales Activities & provide update of the sales funnel regularly- reviewed weekly.

- Make presentations, attend techno-commercial discussions & negotiations with clients

- Assist Collection of Payment and Statutory Documents

- Assist in generating and updating data base on clients, Market opportunities, competitor activity etc

- Analyse industry, competition, consumer and market trends in the region and share learnings & proactively suggest solutions to enhance revenues.

- Ensure Cost focus in the process by tracking budgets and variances

- Assist in market research activities that may be deployed from time to time

Critical Success Factors/ Job Requirements :

- In-depth understanding of the company's products

- Strong business communication skills - verbal and written-

- Influencing key persons in customer organization- across senior and middle management levels

- Handle pressure of multi-tasking against stringent timelines

- Proactive attitude to close deals urgently

- Agility in responding to customer needs and exploit passive opportunities/cold calls

Education & Experience

Post Graduation/ Any Graduate (BE electrical preferred)

- Upto 6-8 years' experience in Corporate /Institutional Sales

Relevant Industry Experience Preferred
