Assistant Manager - Marketing - eCommerce (5-10 yrs)

Job title : Assistant Manager E-Commerce

Salary 40000 to 45000

Reporting to: Director

Location : Kochi

Experience : 5 to 10 years

Qualification MBA Systems Preferred

Technical Competencies : 

- Budgeting and forecasting

- Brand management & communication

- Knowledge of Jewelry Industry

- Understanding of different web technologies

- Basic knowledge in difference programming languages

- Good knowledge in E-Commerce Operations/ online marketing

Roles & Responsibilities : 

- Plan and roll out Digital Marketing Calendar

- Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

- Work with external agencies when required to develop the online presence

- Responsible for all digital activities through Online Sales channels

- Configure the online sales homepage and update product content and manage product categories by coordinating with Web designers and technical service providers

Managing the company website : 

- Keep abreast of the latest best practices, trends and emerging technologies with regards to Search and Content Marketing as well as onsite search

- Coordination with agency and internal team to ensure a smooth online shopping experience

- To deal promptly and professionally with customer email and telephone enquiries

- Ensure a satisfactory outcome for the customer and resolve issues fairly while maintaining a positive image of Sunny Diamond in the customer's mind

- To liaise with the Finance Team in order to sort out any issues relating to refunds or returned items

- Complete monthly reporting of customer service statistics, showing e-mail and order volumes

- Liaison directly with suppliers to resolve any customer complaints or issues as necessary

- Ensure that online platforms are adequately stocked, and this is reflected in the system

- Accounts Management, Coordinate invoicing processes and stock management processes

- Liaison as required with the online platform warehouses in order to resolve delivery issues

- Update stock batches as needed, and process returns

- Perform monthly stock takes with warehouse and reconcile any variances

- Online Marketing Budget preparation, implementing and monitoring

- Identify and advise opportunities that will increase sales and marketing performance for search campaigns and the entire digital channel overall

- Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt

- Ensuring return on investment for the different online marketing campaigns. 

- Ensure profit margins are maintained and targets achieved through e-commerce

- Manage expenses and budgets for the e-commerce platform

- Monitor - Daily sales figures weekly and escalate any anomalies promptly

- Perform regular competitor analysis to generate new treds, to determine price points and online branding and e-comm platform presence

- Support the Director in various aspects of e-commerce

- Work across e-Commerce and merchandising teams and other stakeholders to create and support content marketing efforts

- Open opportunities for all sales channels by driving traffic to site, developing a compelling online product offering and therefore naturally increasing conversion rates

- Continuous development and maintenance of E-Commerce operational activities
