Assistant Manager/Manager - Sales - Valves Division (5-10 yrs)

Chandigarh/Delhi NCR/Faridabad/Greater Noida/Gurgaon/Gurugram/Punjab/Rajasthan Job Code: 158809

Role & Responsibilities:

- North region: Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, J&K, Rajasthan, UP

Meeting Sales Goals, Market Screening, Business Development, Customer Management, Presentation Skills, Performance Management, Building Relationships, Negotiation Skills.

1. The Sales person will be responsible for driving sales activities individually within assigned territory performing concept selling of premium category products through product features and life cycle cost analysis, achieving order intake targets, reviewing market continuously for new opportunities.

2. General understanding of water & wastewater markets. Experience in handling Water Supply Boards and Municipal Corporations.

3. Engineering graduate with Sales, Marketing, Business development experience required.

4. Minimum 5 to 7 years of direct sales, channel sales experience. Preferably should have an experience in selling Valves or premium quality products for water and wastewater applications handling experience of above customers with similar industrial products (Pumps / Pipes etc).

5. Pre-tendering activities including putting specifications for: Butterfly valves, Gate valves, Control valves, Check Valves, Air valves and other accessories (Repair Clamps, Saddles etc) for water supply network.

6. Educate the key customer base with product seminars and personal interface. Ability to identify business needs, areas of improvement and objectives through research and data backed decision making that will empower them to make recommendations on appropriate business initiatives.

7. Identify and Develop channel/business partners for expansion of business.

8. Ability to work proficiently on a cross functional team to achieve individual & company goals

9. Proficient with Windows, MS Office, MS ppt

10. Travel: must be ready to travel at least 50% of the time.

Must Have :

- 5+ years of experience in direct sales, preferably of Valves

- Must be an engineering graduate

- Excellent communication and coordination skills

- Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently towards team goals

- Experience working with Water Supply authorities and Industries

- Preferably located in Delhi or Chandigarh or willing to relocate.
