Product as the fundamental element of the Marketing Mix, becomes the foundation of the Brand. Managing the product innovation pipeline and the implementing the introduction to the system based on the identified and future needs of the end consumer becomes the key function of this position.

- Obtaining understanding of the consumer's met and unmet needs using the research data available, and other resources such as Consultant's (at consumer touch points), Sales team and external support partners( Trade and other stakeholders)

- Formulating the product involvement in the overall marketing strategic framework

- Briefing the development team on the new product requirements

- Managing the overall innovation process, launch in time for the season

- Manage the FOB in consultation with Finance, Marketing, Sales and CEO

- Training the internal team on the product related benefits and attributes to support the product introduction to the market

- Conduct the fit sessions in line with the overall marketing activity plan

- Provide inputs to improvements, changes to the planograms to generate the required impact at POP

- Support the BM in the product shoots for advertising and collateral

- Monitor and track all competitor activity and provide regular feed back to the Senior team and plan needed action with BM

- Identify the opportunities for the Brand to introduce the most applicable and effective product portfolio to achieve the overall growth objectives

- Support the holistic development of the Brand by creating the conducive environment for the new product to thrive.
