Assistant Manager - Channel Sales - Manufacturing (10-12 yrs)

Selection Criteria:

- Candidate should have minimum of 5 to 6 Years channel Sales Experience and total 10 to 12 years Experience.

- Can able to independently design the incentive structures, plan ROI, build distributors motivational programs.

- Qualification: Engineering is Must. MBA optional.

- Candidate must be from reputed Manufacturing Industries.

Purpose:

- Drive distributors in increasing market share of Festo in the market / customers

- Ensure Festo gets most attention in infrastructure and investment

- Supporting distributors to achieve targets and business objectives year on year

- Relationship Management

Key Accountabilities:

- Drive distribution business as per company requirements

- Work in close co-ordination with distributors to achieve high market share at their customers

- Drive specific objectives as per company requirements

- Review distributors performance to ensure required service levels are maintained

- Review distributors on customer and products level performance

- Identify opportunities for customer engagement

- Ensure monthly routines are adhered

- MIS reports

- Forecast

- Develop and execute distributor training calendar

- Communication with internal and/or external Customers, Suppliers as well as Third Parties

- Working in close co-ordination with distributor with planned visits for driving growth

- Active participation in driving sales

- Co-ordination with internal stake holders such as Application engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Contact Centre and marcom to drive objectives

- Active working with sales engineers to drive market share development and avoid conflict at distributors customers

- Innovation and Change

- Development and alignment of necessary measures to develop and steer distributors (training, equipment, marketing actions, joint visits at end user site, consulting on sales performance improvements etc)

- Management of conflict between different sales channels. i.e. Between two distributors, Between direct and distribution

- People Leadership

- Leading & planning distributors business development strategy together with distributor's key stakeholder and motivate them
