Assistant Manager ( Business Development) - Consulting

You will be working with the Business Development Team (Urban, Infrastructure, tourism, water, social policy, education, health and governance) based in Delhi and will be responsible for supporting the department/team in the conduct of day to day operations as well as providing support to the project and technical teams in research and bid preparation. Some of the activities to be undertaken will include:

- Tracking and analyzing business development opportunities in the allocated sector

- Performing analyses of potential market segments and their needs and correlating the same with the strengths of our client

- Achieving business targets set jointly with the management

- Supporting in day to day business development function including providing inputs to the preparation of Expressions of Interest and Technical Proposal

- Undertaking background research for inputs into and enhancement of Technical Proposals

- Providing technical inputs in preparing proposals

- Assembling the team of consultants required for consultancy projects and supporting formatting of their CVs and other credentials

- Identifying external experts in the line of company's business domain

- Developing network and relationships with other consultancy firms, institutions and individuals working in the sector

- Undertaking other BD related tasks as may be required

- Contributing to the geographical expansion of our client in India and the neighboring region - South Asia

Qualifications : Master's degree in Business Administration/urban planning/regional planning/environmental planning

Experience Requirements :

- 2-4 years- experience in Business Development / Pre-Sales function in a consulting firm

Essential Skills :

- Excellent writing and research skills

- Good presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office

- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex information.

- Ability to work with minimum level of supervision
