Job Title : Product Manager, Building Materials

Summary : The Product Manager is responsible for the development, launch, and ongoing success of a specific product line within our building materials manufacturing company. This includes working cross-functionally with R&D, QC, Technical, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to ensure that the product meets the needs of our customers and delivers on our financial goals.

Responsibilities :

- Develop a product roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products and features.

- Gather and prioritize customer feedback to inform product development decisions.

- Work with engineering to define product requirements and specifications.

- Develop and execute product launch plans.

- Manage the product lifecycle, including pricing, promotion, and sales.

- Track product performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure success.

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the building materials industry.

- Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with key stakeholders.

- Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in product management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

This includes regular communication and collaboration to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that the product is developed in a way that meets the needs of all parties.

- The Product Manager is also responsible for making sure that the business development process is efficient and effective. This includes setting clear goals and objectives, managing timelines and budgets, and identifying and mitigating risks.

- By ensuring that the business development process is cross-functionally aligned and efficient, the Product Manager can help to ensure that the product is successful in the marketplace and that the P&L for the product line grows and prospers
