Job Description :
- Ascolite, a prominent manufacturer of construction chemicals headquartered in Surat, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Training Manager to join our team. The Sales Training Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales team members. This position requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales training, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
Responsibilities :
- Develop comprehensive sales training programs to equip sales team members with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to identify training needs and prioritize areas for skill development based on sales performance metrics and market trends.
- Design training modules, presentations, and materials tailored to the specific needs of different sales roles, including field sales representatives, account managers, and sales support staff.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, to ensure maximum participation and knowledge retention.
- Incorporate best practices, industry standards, and product knowledge into training content to ensure sales team members are well-equipped to effectively promote Ascolite's construction chemical products.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to sales team members to reinforce training concepts and help them overcome challenges in the field.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics, and make adjustments as needed to continuously improve training outcomes.
- Stay abreast of developments in sales techniques, training methodologies, and technology tools to incorporate into training programs and ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align training initiatives with overall business objectives and customer needs.
- Manage training logistics, including scheduling, venue coordination, and resource allocation, to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of training activities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales training and development, preferably in the construction industry or related field.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, techniques, and best practices, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical training solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams to achieve performance goals.
- Proficiency in training management software, learning management systems (LMS), and other technology tools used for delivering and tracking training initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training effectiveness, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize training programs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate evolving business needs and changing market dynamics.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to conduct training sessions at various locations within the region.
