Job Description :

- We are looking for a motivated Retail Sales Executive with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of building materials to drive revenue growth through our retail outlets in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities :

Sales Generation :

- Proactively engage with customers to understand their building material requirements and recommend suitable products.

- Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling building materials through retail outlets.

- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referrals.

Customer Service :

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Offer product demonstrations and technical assistance to customers to enhance their buying experience and promote product knowledge.

Inventory Management :

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock availability to meet customer demand.

- Coordinate with the warehouse team to replenish stock as needed and maintain accurate records of inventory.

Merchandising and Display :

- Ensure that retail outlets are visually appealing and products are displayed attractively to maximize sales opportunities.

- Implement merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns to enhance product visibility and drive sales.

Market Analysis and Reporting :

- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify sales opportunities and areas for improvement.

- Prepare sales reports and analysis to track performance against targets and provide insights for decision-making.

Compliance and Safety :

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of retail outlets in accordance with company guidelines.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- 2-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the building materials industry.

- Strong knowledge of building materials and construction products.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with retail software systems.
