ASCENT Foundation founded by Harsh Mariwala (Chairman, Marico Ltd.) is a not-for-profit expression of his personal passion to identify and enable high-potential growth-stage entrepreneurs in their journey to grow both as Entrepreneurs and Enterprises. Designed as a peer-to-peer platform, ASCENT leverages the - power of the collective- and enables entrepreneurs to share experiences, ideas, insights to learn from each other through self-facilitated Trust Groups and an extended network of Enablers.

In the last 6 years, ASCENT has selected over 400 entrepreneurs as members (from more than 1200 applications received) who are part of 34 operational Trust Groups in Mumbai and Chennai. The composition of these members is quite diverse with a 50:50 split between Manufacturing and Services Industries; 44% Family Businesses; 10% Women Entrepreneurs and in all about 65+ diverse industries represented. The aggregate annual revenue of the ASCENT members is more than Rs. 18,000 crores with individual member turnover ranging from Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 2000+ crores.

Our goal is to impact 10,000+ entrepreneurs through 1,000+ Trust- Groups across India in due course.

Job Description:

- Member Acquisition - Connecting with applicants

- Relationship Management - Coordination amongst key stakeholders like ASCENT Trust Group members, Facilitators, Knowledge Gurus, Academic partners etc.

- Introducing new processes, tools and programmes and institutionalising them for enhancing the performance of a Trust Group

- Managing the execution and analytics of certain tools (Health Check)

- Event Coordination - Planning and leading various ASCENT Initiatives like ASCENT Huddle sessions, Mixers, Fundraising Bootcamp, workshops, ASCENT Conclave etc.

- Communication and brand building - creating content for the Monthly Newsletter, updating content on the Website and the MyASCENT Portal.

- Coordination with vendors for designing mailers, website management and other marketing tools to build the brand of ASCENT on an ongoing basis

- Accounting - Planning and Managing the Annual Operating Plan, Budget planning and management for each event, Petty Cash Management

- CRM Management - Collection, maintenance and analysis of data across member base, events, MyASCENT Portal etc.

- Eco-system Building - identifying and liaising with other organisations and associations for various collaboration opportunities, such as programmes and events.

Competencies - Must Have:

Skills:

- Soft Skills - Good Communication Skills (with fluent English), people management etc

- Process and Project Management

- Community and Ecosystem management

- Customer relations (ASCENT Members)

- Social Media savvy

- Basic IT skills - Microsoft Office other relevant platforms like SurveyMonkey, CRM, Portal etc.

- Basic Accounting skills
