Area Sales Officer - Chilled & Frozen (1-6 yrs)

Bangalore/Chandigarh/Chennai/Cochin/Kochi/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Pune Job Code: 237182

- To identify and analyze the potential of the assigned territory.

- To achieve budged sales volume / value in the assigned territory.

- To achieve budgeted primary and secondary sales Volume / Value targets through distributors in his assigned territory and in case of fresh chilled chicken direct delivery from company plant

- To ensure proper Beat Coverage, each and every outlets are visited as per Beat Coverage Plan

- To ensure product placement, in all the Modern trade and Stand alone MT outlets in the assigned territory.

- To ensure very good relation with regional merchandisers/ buyers in their respective territory

- To do follow up and collect purchase orders from the regional buyers

- To ensure stocks are delivered against all Purchase Orders in co-ordination with distributors and supply chain within stipulated period of time

- To ensure proper/ assigned shelf space is occupied and products are merchandised/displayed properly in all the outlets.

- To ensure GRN is collected against each invoice and proper record is maintained like PO NO, Invoice no and GRN No.

- To ensure payments are collected from Modern Trade Chains as per agreed credit days

- To ensure all agreed Debit notes are collected from chains on monthly basis and submitted with finance team and further credit notes are raised

- Explore new potential MT chains to expand the product availability . Strengthen distribution network / appoint new distributors to ensure timely delivery and temperature integrity

- To ensure the company owned freezers are having exclusive Suguna products.

- Regular in house sales promotion activities like wet sampling, displays of consumer offers are implemented on regular basis to ensure faster movement / tertiary sales of all products.

- To monitor outlet wise sales of the assigned territory and to take corrective steps to increase sales beat competition and ensure positive growth

- Guiding, Coaching & Monitoring Promoters and Merchandisers to ensure proper utilization and positive growth

- To report to the reporting manager on daily, weekly basis through telephonic and e-mail .

- To send report on competitor pricing . promotion and sales in their respective territory on fortnightly / monthly basis as and when it is required

- To suggest, seek help from superiors to ensure positive growth

Qualification : 

- Any Under Graduation or M.B.A in marketing or a professional degree

- Linguist abilities : Local language & English

- Minimum 2 years- experience in FMCG, preferably with Chilled & frozen knowledge

- Good Geographical knowledge

- Excellent customer handling skills
