Designation : Area Sales Manager (Modern Trade)

Work Experience : 8-10 years-

- Experience in sales, business development, operations, relationship building, strategic planning, channel management, and team management in the FMCG sector

- Person should be working as ASM) & Brand promotional activities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Manage Sales &Distribution growth in National/Modern/Local Modern & E-Commerce Chains.

- Complete the process of listing of brands

- Stock taking and rotations at outlets.

- Handling key modern retail clients like Hyper city, Food hall, Star Bazaar, DMart, JioMart, Spencer, Bigbazaar & other local LK stores.

- Ensure right execution in MT outlets through merchandising & Promotion executions

- Ensure the availability while restricting expiries & wastages under a benchmarked number

- Drive various marketing initiatives (on the ground, digital & events) for customer acquisitions

- Handling E-commerce's strategic customers like Flipkart, Amazon, Swiggy, Big Basket, Instamart, etc.

- Driving operational efficiency and ensuring availability across various geographies while keeping expiries to a minimum.

- Analyse buying behavior to formulate promotions and visibility for customers

- Hunting & acquiring new E-commerce players.

- Build & lead the food tech channel from scratch involving clients like Swiggy, Zomato, Freshmenu, Olafood, CCD, etc.

- Make it self-sustaining through business development, operational execution, marketing & revenue management

- Formulate optimum pack-price solutions to ensure profitability for all parties.

- Formulate new models & processes involving cross functional engagements with logistics,commercials, marketing, IT, etc.

KEY SKILLS :

- Strong communication & negotiation skills and an approach to leading.

- Should be handling Frontline Sales Team.

- Smart Knowledge of a particular area with a good brand only.

- Should be open for traveling and should have good networking presentation and team management skills.
