Area Sales Manager - IT (8-13 yrs)
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced area sales manager to drive sales growth within a designated geographic region. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in territory sales, with a successful track record of meeting sales targets.
- MBA graduate.
- Excellent communication skills, strong sales orientation, adept at people management, and proficient in numerical analysis.
- Thorough understanding of SME manufacturers in the Indian market and the ability to independently drive business growth.
- Proficiency in SQL or similar database querying language and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in a fast-growing, dynamic startup environment.
- Exceptional negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout India.
Responsibilities :
- Utilize various channels including inbound/outbound emails, and face-to-face meetings to close sales.
- Develop sales acquisition strategies, identify new opportunities, create business cases, and devise Go-To-Market plans.
- Own end-to-end sales processes and ensure revenue growth from new and existing customers.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Establish a systematic approach to customer outreach and relationship management, prioritizing key customers and prospects.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and networking events.
- Develop metrics to measure ROI from client acquisitions.
