Area Sales Manager - HORECA (7-15 yrs)

Job Purpose : This position is responsible to ensure development and management of companies business in HoReCa segment in the assigned area that will ensure the Sustained Sales of the company's products and achievement of the targeted market share.

Primary Role :


 1. Responsible for exploring potential business avenues for achieving increased business growth in HORECA/ Institutional Business

2. Deliver the sales objectives of volume, value, market share and acquire new food service accounts across the HORECA channel

3. Build up strategies / Sales promotion plans under the guidance of the Senior Manager

4. Mapping the requirement of HORECA Business providing best products and services and achieving profitability growth for the assigned area

5. Ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery & service quality norms

6. Responsible for expanding the company product business in HORECA segment

7. Define monthly and quarterly plans to drive volume, value, market share and activation in the region

8. Analyse various promotion plans & cost impact of the same in the budget.

9. Appointment of distributors & managing relations with them

10. Meeting up the Distributors for planning of Business Development & discussing implementation plans.

11. Maintain relations with existing clients and create new clients as well

12. Collate data and prepare reports to track various parameters e.g. Sales Efficiency, Sales Achievement

13. Visit key customer & represent the company product range.

14. Recruiting, managing and motivating the sales team.

Secondary Role : 


1. Manages support to the Sales Officers including monitoring of assignments, productivity and overall well-being.

2. Ensures all regulatory and compliance measures are met within internal and external regulations.

3. Acts as collaborator between customers, operations and the head office departments.

Educational Qualification/Experience :


 1. Graduate / Post graduate with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HoReCa / Institutional business

2. Good understanding of the HoReCa-market and associated commodities.

3. Ability to manage people - internal team as well as distributor & distribution handling.

4. Personal integrity and excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing to deal effectively with the customers and consumers and achieve speediness of responses with the aim of accurate business partnering.
