Area Sales Manager - FMCG (6-8 yrs)

- Responsible for sales & revenue Generation, developing sales strategies, setting up of detailed AOP, enhancing distribution footprint, credit control, forecasting, and promotional activities

- Accountable for Sales (primary and secondary) and revenue generation through the company's product line in the assigned Area/State


- Responsible for credit control by ensuring timely collection of over dues, maintaining credit days and channel partner's performance to avoid delayed payments

- Responsible to prepare PJP for self and team and demonstrate 100% adherence

- Develop creative promotional strategies to assist customers in pushing sales

- Responsible for settlement of distributor's issues and maintain hygiene within channel network

- Maintain key outlets and expansion of the retail universe through team

- Prepare market intelligence report across marketing P's reflecting competitive launches, pricing, promotions, etc. to gauge current market trends

- Consistently liquidate slow-moving stock in consultation with ZM

- Managing frontline field force (2-4)

- Conduct business performance review meetings with customer and sales team on a monthly and quarterly basis

- Monitoring the team's performance and motivating them to reach targets

- Develop performance improvement plan for the sales team to meet performance goals

- Ensure the allocated team is on board throughout the year with the fall back option in case of any eventuality.
