Area Sales Manager - FMCG (2-6 yrs)

Job Responsibilities : 

- Regional sales team management- distribution of monthly targets, scheduling store visits for the team and order management monitoring

- Train and motivate Sales team to maximize shelf space for the product as per their given objectives

- Joint Business Plan closures with regional customer accounts

- Planning periodic sales targets and driving sales initiatives to achieve business goals

- Key account management of customer accounts- follow growth targets with each customer accounts, plan SKU wise growth at key accounts, close and execute promotional/sales activities with key accounts

- Responsible for the complete business development cycle from prospecting, presentations, negotiations and new customer closures to servicing the account

- Forecasting- Forecast SKU wise sales within accuracy norms every week on a rolling basis to ensure optimum stocks

- Study historical trends and impact of different inputs to accurately forecast SKU wise business for the following weeks

Requirements

- Proven successful track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

- Should have the ability to steer and work with internal cross functional teams to service key accounts

- Should demonstrate a good functional understanding of business and should be capable of quickly understanding new businesses, sectors and industry verticals

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred)

- 2-4 years in experience in Business Development and Sales

- 2-4 years of experience on excel spreadsheet or similar tools for maintaining trackers

- 2+ years of experience in new customer acquisition

- Attention to details is a must

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to handle pressure, quick problem solving and meeting deadlines
