Area Sales Manager - FMCG (15-20 yrs)

Job description :


We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 15 to 20 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong background in sales management. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of first-line managers and driving sales growth in your designated area.


Responsibilities :


1. Lead a team of first-line managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.


2. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market penetration, increase revenue, and achieve business growth.


3. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for sales growth and market expansion.


4. Implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing policies to gain a competitive edge in the market.


5. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives to support sales efforts and strengthen brand presence.


6. Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing regular feedback to the team members and implementing corrective measures when necessary.


7. Conduct regular market visits to build strong relationships with key customers, identify their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.


8. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to enhance product availability and visibility in the market.


Requirements :


1. 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry, with at least 5 years in a first-line management role.


2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving sales targets.


3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


- Handling of 6-7 SO, managing 2-3 Super stockiest & 30-40 distributors, Age Max 40 years, good communication skills, Only hardcore FMCG background
