Position Overview :
- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Area Sales Manager for the Maharashtra region. The key responsibility will be to oversee the entire Maharashtra region and secure orders from agro-based clients in need of our BOPP and PP bags. The Area Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage sales activities across the Maharashtra region, including identifying and targeting potential clients in the agro-based industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable packaging solutions using our BOPP and PP bags.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure orders and meet sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any customer issues or concerns.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
