Area Sales Engineer - Construction Products (1-5 yrs)

Job Description:

Executing Sales Strategies and Policies:

- Need to visit structural consultants / architects / developers / builders / construction companies and applicators for sales and marketing of construction equipments.

- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations events, and attending trade shows and conferences.

- Building and maintaining contacts with the customers, developing a full understanding of the business market- place, act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.

- Following up regularly with clients to assess satisfaction with services and to identify additional business Opportunities strives to achieve sales goals.

- Visiting Customers Preparing the Quotations, Closing the orders, coordinating for the material deliveries, Payment Collection & Control the Discounts and Improve Net Sales Price

- Prepare sales orders obtained, and submit orders for processing

- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.

- Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements

- Suggest the correct products or assist customers in making right product selections, based on customers' requirements, product specifications, and applicable regulations.

Market Penetration:

Penetration of market through

a) Adequate coverage of the area, customer size and trade, potential etc.

b) Analyze the customer Potential and Sales

c) Analyze how profitable is the current Customer Base& Territory

Payment Collections:

- Maintains and review all customers accounts receivables and pending dues.

- Reconciliation of Balance records with Confirmation periodically with customers

- Documentation/ Communication and Information:

- Communicate across all departments and keep relevant information flowing

- Ensure the team prepares documents as per requirements of DSR, Customer Records etc

- Information flow needs to be deadline oriented

- Reports from ERP

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification:

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

- 2- 3 Years selling experience in Construction Products / Building Materials industry.

- Own Two Wheeler, mobile phone & laptop.

- Knowledge of English, Hindi & Local Language.
