Area Manager - Channel Sales - Sanitaryware (4-7 yrs)
The manufacturing leader is looking for ASM for the Hyderabad location.
The position is responsible for managing and driving sales through dedicated teams and distribution channels for all geographies related to the specific branch by focusing on the activities below.
- Driving sales through distributors and direct dealers
- Growing business through influencers like architects and contractors
- Driving new product launches
- Ensure distribution coverage to all critical towns; take necessary corrective actions to increase coverage through distributors/dealers and addition of retail outlets in existing and gap towns
- Managing & reviewing a set of the dedicated teams & ensuring implementation of action plans through them to improve performance in respective zones
- Regular inventory & stock planning with supply chain managers
- Design and propose the Local Sales promotions schemes and track their usage
- Taking process improvement initiatives around the sales process, distribution, and branch operations
- Ensure timely closure of complaint handling
- MIS reporting, tracking of expenses and ensure timely settlement of claims
- MBA with minimum 4 years of ASM experience from a premium institute.
- The person should be open to travel
- Knowledge and experience in distribution-related business is also necessary
