Job Description:

1.) Responsible for designing and developing new technology-based products, services and processes

2.) Analyze and understand the positioning of the product, service or process.

3.) Online Bidding

4.) Knowledge of bidding portals.

5.) Translate functional needs into specifications.

6.) Assessing and improving the capacities of new processes and measuring their performance.

7.) Gather business intelligence (patent, technology and competitive intelligence) to identify new scientific trends and conduct strategic planning.

8.) Participate in bench marking and test competitive products to gain relevant information that can be applied to product specifications.

Primary responsibilities:

1.) Identifying new sales leads 


a.) Pitching products and/or services


b.) Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.

2.) Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.

3.) Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.

4.) Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.

5.) Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

6.) Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products.

7.) Developing quotes and proposals.

8.) Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.

9.) Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met.

10.) Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

11.) Business Development Executive Skills.

To be an effective business development executive, an individual must be:
