The role of Trainee Cargo Broker will focus on the 100% development of your own new business. Managing the full sales cycle as well as building relationships with clients at all levels. You will be responsible for looking after your own desk, negotiating contracts and closing sales.

- Generation of a portfolio of clients

- Cold- calling new potential clients

- Client relationship management

- Co-ordination of cargo charter bookings and procuring of cargo aircraft

- Achievement of revenue targets

What we look for:

- Confidence in generating new Cargo charter leads

- Experience in the Airfreight industry

- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, knowledge of verbal Bengali/Bangla/Sinhalese language is preferable

- Knowledge of all rules and regulations in the cargo industry

- Ability to liaise at all levels

- Self-motivated, assertive and independent

- 0-5 years of experience in the cargo or freight forwarding industry

A passion for aviation is essential. Additionally, we look for:

- Business verbal and written fluency in English is essential.

- Sales experience within aviation industry or a proactive account management role

- Calm disposition and positive outlook, particularly when working under pressure

- Flexibility to change and adapt working hours and patterns if necessary

- Trustworthy and honest in all aspects of the role

- Self - motivated and happy to work with a high degree of autonomy

- Team player who appreciates the value of co-operation within the local and international ACS team

- Tenacious and willing to keep trying in challenging situations

- Adaptable and responds well to feedback and change
