As a content writer, your key roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Researching and organizing facts and sources (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
- Write clear copy to make user friendly content.
- Creating concise, eye-catching, and innovative headlines and body copy.
- Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems.
- Proofread and edit blog and news posts before publication.
- Submit work to editors for input and approval.
- Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
- Promote content on social media.
- Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone).
- Update website content as needed.
