Job Description :

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to maximize revenue, market share, and customer acquisition for our products. You will lead a team of sales professionals, build strong partnerships with dealerships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the Food industry, (FMCG) excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales success.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned zone.

- Lead and mentor a team of sales executives, ensuring their professional growth and optimal performance.

- Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, stay updated with industry trends, and adjust strategies as needed.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to maximize brand presence and product availability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to drive cohesive business strategies.

- Monitor and analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.

- Prepare and deliver insightful sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations within the assigned zone.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and leading successful sales teams.

- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience within the FMCG industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive strategic decisions.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned zone as needed.
