Designation Account Manager - Software Sale to BFSI

Location Mumbai - Andheri

Purpose of the role Be the one-point contact with client to deepen relationship. Create and nurture long-term relationships with clients. Resolve client issues. Look for potential opportunities for business. Safeguard existing revenue. Generate additional revenue.

Role & Responsibilities

- Build strong and long term relationships with key employees at client site

- Address clients- business needs

- Advise client on key issues

- Schedule regular meetings with client to understand their issues and ensure resolution

- Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate

- Identify new / potential needs of client

- Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products

- Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms

- Competitor analysis

- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, support units, senior management) to address client needs

Key Competencies

- Experience in customer service and relationship management

- Understanding of industry and market

- Communication and networking skills

- High energy

- Ability to spot potential business

- Ability to build rapport at all levels

- Positive attitude

- Problem solving attitude

- Strong negotiation skills

- IT knowledge and understanding

- At least 3-4 years of IT sales experience

Qualification Post graduate (IT and MBA)

Age / Years of experience 7-8 years

Industry experience IT, banking IT
