We need to fill the following position for an IT Company.

Position : Account Manager - IT Solution Sales

Location : Chennai

Education : BE/B-Tech/MCA

Experience : 8 - 12 Years

Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience

Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile :

1. Incumbent will be focusing on acquisition of new business, to grow potential accounts from existing value to its true potential. Contributes to team success, putting team interests ahead of self-interest; effectively work across company to address business issues.

- Define process and plan for closure of large projects (Government Departments, Ministries and their Subdivisions, Public Sector Units, Private/Corporate Business Units). Additionally he/she acts as the advocate for the customer's interests and shows a personal long-term commitment for the customer.

- Support to develop and execute the agreed customer strategy. Support the account business targets and is responsible for the achievement of the target. Support to develop a strategic partnership and establishes relationships with the appropriate Customer's key decisions makers and ensures access to the account, combine the know-how and forms the communication hub.

2. Builds/maintains sustainable "C" Level relationships in customer accounts. Establishes himself/herself as the point of contact for escalations. Recognizes potential risks with (major) business impact to the account early, and escalates identified risks to concerned divisions in time when necessary.

- Develop and execute the agreed customer strategy in order to increase the business with the customer long term.

- Focuses and pursues strategic business opportunities with the customer by coordinating the activities of the company.

- Ensures a unified approach across customers. Ideal candidate would be an engineer with 8-12 years of enterprise sales experience.
