Account Manager - Media Sales - FM Music (3-6 yrs)

Our client is one of the leading FM music channels in the country today. The company offers with the best quality and most quantity of music on-air, constantly playing only the top contemporary hits & synonymous with less talk, more music.

The Job : 

- We are seeking to hire a top-notch Sales Professional to manage Retail Accounts, for a young and dynamic new-age industry leader.

- This is an exciting role in the Media space that goes beyond routine sales. You will be required to originate, ideate and participate in the creative process to provide online, on-air solutions that deliver immediate impact and results.

As an Account Manager for ad sales, you would be responsible for :

- Promoting and selling advertising time on the industry's leading platform

- Organizing On-ground activation for clients-brand promotions.

- Identifying deliverables of a campaign with the buyers and managers and closing deals.

- Understanding & delivering as per client briefs

- Coordinating and integrating with the Programming and the Creative team.

- Maximizing sales revenues and achieving given sales targets.

Your Profile : 

- You are a thinking individual with 3-6 years of selling experience

- You have excellent communication skills

- You have exposure to the Consumer/Media/Print/Digital/Online industries

- You have the ability to develop strong client relationships

- You have A demonstrated track record of success in meeting targets

- You have a good understanding of products, customers and brands

- You have a reasonable awareness of local brands and products.

Closing Statement : 

- The above positions are open for Retail category positions (Non Govt). We are looking at people with 3-6 years of work experience in media sales preferably (Radio, Print, OOH, Cinema, TV) with a key outlook on new business development. The candidate must be a PG - MBA with excellent communication skills. The candidates should be completely mobile and aggressive with a decent digital mindset. Knowledge of English content (music, movies) will be an added advantage.

- Corporate category background should be people who have serviced and done New Business Development in the following categories: Automobiles, Mobile Phones, Airlines, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Dotcom & Beverages.

- Retail category background should be people who have serviced and done New Business Development in the following category: Hospitals, Education, real estate, hotels, apparels /shopping, home decor, building material etc.
