Account Executive - Direct Sales - Insurance (2-5 yrs)

Basic Function :

Customer Account Executive (AE)/Sales Coordinator/Inside Sales Executive's primary duty is the management of Client's Publishing's customers. Sales Coordinator / Inside Sales Executive will be directly responsible for servicing all existing business relationships, securing the renewal of all existing subscriptions as well as selling upgrades and additional products.

The Account Executive is also responsible for generating new sales of Client's Publishing products and implementing and directing a growth plan for their territories in their assigned markets.

Essential Functions :

Direct Sales Excellence : Take charge of selling direct publisher information products to top universities and institutions in assigned territory accounts. Whether you're a lone wolf or a team player, success is within your reach.

Active Selling : Engage clients through telephone and email, showcasing your persuasive communication skills.


Marketing Strategy : Collaborate to shape and execute marketing strategies for your assigned territory, ensuring maximum impact.


Pricing Mastery : Understand the pricing system inside out and tailor it to suit each unique case.

Sales Support : Handle all aspects of the sales process, from preparing quotes, administrative tasks, and even setting up trials.

Account Management : Handle account setup and maintenance, including user profiles, branding, authentication, and reporting.

Product Knowledge : Become an expert in our client's publishing products and stay informed about the competition.

Required Qualifications :


Knowledge :


Ability to make first time (cold) calls, manage customer accounts, understand content and functionality as well as the understanding of on-line services as they pertain to information delivery.


Experience :


Must have college degree or substantial relevant work experience in field Job requires advanced knowledge, which allows ISR (Inside Sales Representative) to analyze, interpret and make deductions from varying facts or circumstances, 2-5 years (preferred) experience in selling in the field or by telephone.


Skills/Aptitudes :


Due to the Account Executive's ability to commit Client's Publishing to various financial agreements, affect policy changes and formulate and make operations decisions involving the company the AE/ISR must be able to think independently and make decisions based on the comparison and evaluation of relevant information: exercising discretion and independent judgment are essential. Time management skills are a must. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, is critical.

Physical Requirements :


- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.

- Ability to operate a personal computer on average for 7+ hours a day.

- Ability to travel National & internationally three to four times per year.

Language Skills :

Looking for fluency in English, Hindi and Tamil/Malayalam.
