Job Description :

We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Sales Representative to join our team at A&S Magazine, a premier monthly publication specializing in fire, safety, and security solutions. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling advertising space and sponsorships within our magazine to businesses operating in the fire, safety, and security industries.

Responsibilities :

1. Prospect, identify, and cultivate relationships with potential advertising clients within the fire, safety, and security sectors.

2. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize advertising sales.

3. Understand clients' advertising needs and objectives, and tailor advertising proposals to meet their requirements.

4. Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure alignment between advertising content and magazine themes.

5. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities.

6. Negotiate advertising rates and contracts with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

7. Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.

8. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and promote A&S Magazine.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Mass Media of Mass Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

2. Proven track record of 3 to 5 years in advertising sales, preferably in media or publishing industries.

3. Experience selling advertising space or sponsorships to clients in the fire, safety, and security industries is highly desirable.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

5. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-driven mindset.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

8. Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and conferences as required.
