Manager - Business Development - Education Sales

We are currently retained by a client - a leading name in the Fintech Industry. It's a growing company which is Startup and is growing further. It would be great opportunity to take your career to the next level.

The role involves the ability to pitch the financial solution to schools and colleges effectively. It requires consultative selling skills and institutional sales background. This is B2B sales and not B2C.

Key Responsibilities:

- The role requires to meet with new clients of the company that is School Founders / chairperson / Principal and other key stakeholders to pitch the solution

- Demonstrated track record of handling B2B Sales in the education industry

- Make power packed presentations to teachers, educators and decision makers in schools, colleges and Government Departments to influence them to adopt newer financial solutions

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate:

- Should be a graduate with an MBA in sales and marketing.

- Dynamic, self-motivated person and a quick learner with the ability to plan, strategise, execute and think differently

- Good spoken and written proficiency in English.

- Demonstrated record of handling existing customers in B2B environment..

- Excellent in building stakeholder/Client relationship across levels

- Good in market intelligence, sales process, and data

- Innovative thinking would help

- Ability to do consultative selling and be able to sell a new solution

Please note this role requires extensive travelling and is not an office based role.

To qualify you must have the experience of sales with an education company. Also the fire in your belly and risk appetite to work with a startup and take your career to new heights.
