Function :

Business Development Manager is a senior sales position within the company. Its job will be to work with the internal team, marketing staff, our distributors and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for their organization.

Job Description:

- Should have experience in Frozen and Chilled Processed Meats industry / FMCG - ideally Pork and Chicken.

- Sells products by implementing national sales plans; supervising regional sales Team

- Must have worked or working in North, South, East and West Indian regions ( Whole India ) with HoReCa and Modern Retail clients on a Pan India bases. Bhutan, Nepal, Sikkim is highly preferable.

- Should be open to develop new customers in fast food chains, catering institutions etc-

- Create and implement effective sales strategies, organize and train effective wet sampling in modern storesand lead nationwide sales personnel toward achievement of corporate sales objectives, role is essential in managing and growing significant revenue stream.

- Manage to meet/exceed monthly, Annual sales Targets for all regions

- Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans

- Management of present distributor network and appointment of new distributors in regions where required.

- Completes national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

- Maintains national sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

- Must have passion for selling of premium quality food products.

Qualification, Experience & Requirements :

- Excellent verbal & written communication in English.

- The ability to work under pressure and to meet target / deadlines

- Have direct contacts with Executive Chefs / Purchase Manager of the hotels.

- Willing to travel at short notice.

- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in Chilled / Frozen Food / Especially in Meat Industry.

Salary: Salary will not be a constraint to the right candidate.
