About The Role :

As Workshop Sales Manager, your excellent planning, sales skills, pro-active attitude and process oriented execution will help us serve our customers efficiently and effectively. You will own and run the workshop and training business development piece end to end. You will plan the workshop calendar intelligently, onboard the right vendors as per the needs and aspirations of our customers, get workshops conducted in a flawless manner, and, ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will make sure that our customers become a better version of themselves, by providing them with right opportunities to learn, and lead a better life overall.

This role blends sales, vendor management, product development, and operations. You will drive revenue for the entity by ensuring that sales targets are met month on month, and by ensuring a high repeat rate and order value for the business.You will have the opportunity to grow within the organization, and take up higher responsibility roles, by leveraging your past experience and learning new skills.

Positions are based out of Gurgaon. There is possibility of frequent travel in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Workshop Planning: Strategize and plan beneficial workshops to be held across schools and university for students, parents and alumni, as per the guidelines of the business.

Workshop Execution: Get selected workshops organized and conducted for the benefit of our internal and external audiences by coordinating with qualified vendors, trainers and speakers. Ensure sales targets are met for each workshop by generating and converting leads, and reaching out to customers through appropriate marketing channels. Use the right tools to improve conversions in each step of the sales funnel to build a highly scalable and surplus-oriented system.

Vendor Management: Set up a Vendor Qualification System that will ensure that only highly qualified and relevant vendors are selected for delivering workshops, as per defined business KPIs. Manage the entire vendor life-cycle, from onboarding to service delivery to payments to repeat business.

Service Quality Leader: Collect quality feedback from customers to improve our service offerings, on a continual basis. Ensure high standards of service delivery to the full satisfaction of the customers, tracked using NPS, Comstat and other frameworks. Ensure that service delivery is standardized and that the feedback systems work in auto-mode.

Operational Process Management: Data collection, reporting, analysis, preparing recommendations, and coordinating with head-office and school authorities, will be part of your responsibilities.

Background and Educational Requirements:

Undergraduate / Postgraduate degree from a reputed institute / university.

Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar sales role in the events / workshops / training industry, in all aspects of workshop planning, and execution.

Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Hindi, are a must have. Relaxation in Hindi requirement for Expat candidates.

Deep connects in the events and workshop industry on the supply side.

Experience of outbound marketing through offline and online marketing channels.

Operational experience of holding events / workshops for different customer segments. Candidates with end-to-end execution experience will be preferred.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage operations.

Experience in a product sales or business development role in education industry is highly preferred.

Ability to hire sales teams, set up processes and focus on profitable revenue will be appreciated.

Ability to understand market needs, customer life-cycle, buyer personas, and, sales funnels.

Female candidates will be preferred.
